Trying to attract brands?

On many occasions, we seek to attract the attention of brands to promote them. There can be very different reasons: from seeking financing for new projects, showing a more commercial image or simply using brands as a source of financing. Therefore, in this post, we are going to give you some tips to like and attract brands.

Define your image

We would all like to make the Coca-Cola ad and receive a bank transfer with many zeros, but there comes a point where you have to be realistic. The first thing you should do is know what differentiates you from the rest. You will not do the same actions if you are a basketball team, an artist or a stock investor. Let’s not deviate, you must know what your strengths are and for this the best thing you can do is listen to your audience.

Your audience is made up of people who are interested in what you do, whether on social networks or in the offline world, it has to be for something. Let’s hear what that something is: it may be your way of expressing yourself, your public opinion, your talent or the type of content you create, but it can be an infinite number of things. If you think about it, for example, any musician who has succeeded, does not limit himself to making music, but also has an image linked to his profile. Every artist has something linked to him, which helps him make him famous: David Bisbal has his curls and his way of dancing, Lady Gaga has his costumes, masks and more, Michael Jackson had his way of dancing and his expressions when singing . Whatever you think of, you will not only be aware of his songs, but that something accompanies him.

If you want to like and attract people, find what your audience likes and make the most of it come with your personality.

Focus on your strategy

You already know what people like about you and what differentiates you, now you should know where to go. Let’s continue with the example of singers, if my musical genre is rap, it would be very rare for me to claim the uniform in schools. So define in a basic way what is your opinion to show the industry. You should decide what you want to defend as an artist or what you want to give visibility to.

Show your image

Admit it, if you have opened this article it was so as not to end up making a content strategy on your social networks. Well, I come to give you very bad news: for good and for bad, we live in 2021, and YOU MUST USE SOCIAL MEDIA.

We have a post on this blog that will help you create your image on social networks and grow within them. You can read it in less than 5 minutes and it will help you focus on your audience.

What do brands search currently?

Brands are looking for someone who represents the values of their brand and who has an audience very similar to theirs. In this way, they ensure that the artist generates interest in his followers for the brand they promote.

A profile that takes great care of its image, that is always groomed and its fans love its physique, would be ideal to advertise hygiene products: colognes, deodorants, facial creams … Or someone who always chews gum in their daily livestyle, will have more chance of matching with candy brands.

It is closely linked to the previous points, you will end up announcing products that match with your public image, or your most personal characteristics.

Make your audience become bigger

Something very important is the size of your audience, we are not necessarily talking about social networks. For example, if you have 200 followers on Instagram, but 20,000 people attend your concerts, brands will have a lot of interest in you as well. I’m sure that if you follow the advice in this post, which you’ve probably already read, your digital image will grow.

Like it or not, it’s easier to grow your audience digitally than offline. It will be easier for you using some platforms than others, I personally recommend using Instagram Reels and Tik Tok.

Make proposals to brands

We all would like to have our mailbox full of proposals to work with large companies, but unfortunately that is not always the case.

If your digital image grows, it is possible that brands will start to be interested in you. In fact, many brands are now targeting so-called micro influencers, who number between 3,000 and 15,000 followers or so. They are interested in these profiles because their followers are more connected to them than to the big influencers, they feel closer to them. It’s no wonder that if you create content periodically, have a lot of views and start being a micro influencer, brands will contact you.

If not, how to attract brands? If you really believe that your profile meets conditions that may be of interest to brands, you can be the one to contact them. Don’t send them a voice message, or try to blow yourself away. The best thing is to contact them with a text or a document that explains who you are and what you do, as well as why you think you can help their brand grow. Do not use a too informal tone and if you contact active brands on social networks, it is not bad that you send them the message through social networks, since this way they will see your profile and they will be able to know more about you quickly.

Wish you luck to find your brand!
